I've gone by many names both online and off, but you can call me Rotten (or any nickname for Rotten like Rott or Rotty) or Decay.
Officially I am unemployed. Unofficially, I am a professional drawer of creatures.
I've been collecting stuffed animals ever since I was young and I love every single one dearly. I also collect small ceramic animals, which I mostly find in antique shops. I spend most of my time drawing, reading, or gaming and not much else. I'm not a very social person but I do have friends I like spending time with; we enjoy watching movies, talking about whatever our new obsessions are, and playing TTRPGs.
I don't actually remember why I made a Neocities account, but now I'm here to make something entirely my own. Customization has become rarer and rarer on the modern internet, so it's become difficult to truly be myself anywhere. Here on Neocities, I'm making something entirely my own. The layout was decided by me, the drawings are mine, the subject matter are things I like to talk about, and there's no pressure to get popular and gain a bunch of followers or comments or likes. My only limits are that of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and my own imagination.
Fun facts about me:
- I have two sisters and one brother, all of which are older than me.
- I have three cats named Shott, Worm, and Beetle and a dog named Maya.
- My favorite animals are vultures (yes, all of them), domestic cats, and wolf spiders.
- The name of this website (the13thchild) was inspired by Inscryption's Child 13 card and by extension so is the character I use to represent myself here (Decay).
